Cómo reconocer la necesidad antes de que sea demasiado tarde

Cómo reconocer la necesidad antes de que sea demasiado tarde

Credit is one of those things that you don’t think about until it stops you from getting something you want and at that point, it's too late.

Now you have a problem and start having doubts like, “My credit score is not good enough, do I give up? Do I try? What would be my first step? Who can I ask? Who can I trust?”

5 Signs To Recognize the Need Before It's Too Late:

1)      Educate Yourself!

-          The credit world is tricky and always changing so it’s hard to know how what to do and where to go to find the right path. Know who the three credit bureaus (Experian, Transunion, Equifax) are and how they each affect your ability to have positive credit.

2)      Check Your Score

-          Find a credit monitoring site that shows you all three credit bureau scores and account information to ensure an accurate picture of where you stand.

3)      Budget

-           If you’re starting to see the need to budget, then it’s time to look at how you’re living. Are you going out more times than you should? Are you spending more money on your credit cards as a result?

4)      Be Mindful

-           Know what you are spending, when, and if each purchase is a need or a want. If you always know what’s going on with your finances, you are more likely to be in control of your credit picture as well.

5)      Ask for Help!

-          There are times where we feel overwhelmed with all the directions and we don’t know where to start or where to stop. Seek professional help to remove inaccuracies and dispute any items.

There are so many confusing tricks and guidelines changing the way the bureaus determine your credit scores which makes it hard to keep up with all the revisions. Teaching yourself to recognize the signs that you need to repair your credit is a step that we must all take in life. Credit affects everything so to take control of our own credit we must look at how our budget reflects our future goals.
